Creative Psychotherapy and Counselling that enables people to thrive not just survive.
A creative, soul-based approach to finding ease in times of resistance and adversity.
Inner Child Healing
Our earliest experiences shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. When childhood needs have gone unmet, or difficult experiences have been carried into adulthood, they can continue to influence our relationships, self-esteem, emotions, and ways of coping long after the original events have passed. Healing is not about erasing the past but about gently reconnecting with the younger parts of ourselves that still carry fear, shame, grief, or unmet needs. Through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, I offer a safe and creative space where we can explore these experiences together, helping you develop greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and a more nurturing relationship with yourself.
Biography
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked for many years supporting children, young people and families. Working with a diverse range of children and teenagers for so long has allowed me the very privileged position of watching how these wonderful young people’s creativity, resilience, and unique ways of being grow, while also observing how life experiences quietly knock their confidence or change their natural way of being and sense of self.
This experience continues to inform my work today. When working with adults, I have noticed that struggles in their lives can often be traced back to moments in childhood, either in family life, education or relationships and coming back to these and speaking to the child within them allows for a space and ease to open and a new way forward. I have also observed how becoming a parent can awaken memories and emotions from one's own childhood, reminding us that healing is rarely just about the present moment.
Alongside my work with adults, I provide psychotherapeutic support to children in schools in North London. If you wish to know more about this work or if you would like to know whether I could support your child, please get in touch.
