Sessions and Fees
Fees
Sessions are weekly, lasting for 50 minutes and are charged at £75 per session. Sessions can take place online or in person at my therapy practice in Old Street. I offer individual psychotherapy to adults (aged 16 and above).
I offer a free, initial consultation of 20-minutes either online (via Zoom) or over the phone. This can usually be arranged within a week of contacting me if I have availability. This allows us to get a sense of each other, to discuss any questions you may have, and I can share with you what I can offer.
Cancellations
I ask for three working days for cancellations. If cancelled within this period, you will be charged the full amount. For all cancellations, I charge a fee of £20, which goes towards paying for the session time and space. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to get in contact, and we can discuss this in more detail.
Bookings and starting therapy
After our initial conversation, if you would like to proceed with the therapeutic work, we will agree on a day and time for our sessions. This is reserved for you each week for the agreed-upon time of work.
In your first session, we will speak more in depth about what brings you to therapy, why you have chosen this time to seek support, and what you would like to use the space for. We will also go through a contract to discuss confidentiality and ensure I have your correct details.
I will then recommend we have an initial block of 6 sessions. This gives us the chance to get to know each other and start to work towards your goals in therapy. During this time, you are welcome to stop the therapy at any point. By the end of these six sessions, we will have a review of our sessions, what has been helpful, and think together about how we can continue working together either in the long or short term and whether the goals of the work need to be adjusted. At this point, we can also end the therapy if you would like.
If you would like any further information, please feel free to get in contact either by email, phone or on the contact me page.
